This is the title page to the
sixth and final movement of Ken Hatfield's New York Suite for solo guitar.
Each piece in this suite is set in a different dance style, and here we have the
"Samba." Ken's music is exremely melodic, harmonically rich, and marked
by strong counterpoint. You will notice a significant difference between this
guitar score and H.Teddy Crawford's.
The pedagogical data, various technique and musical complexities have been stripped
away, and the performer is left only with pure music to interpret.
